Hey Summer Lovers!
We’re always looking for ways to continuously improve our service to you as we provide a healing and relaxing place for our Portland community. As summer rolls around, traditionally it’s been the slow season here at CGWC. Some changes are coming up and we’ll be planning this summer for ways to have you get involved in our visioning process as we further define the meaning of a wellness center providing a holistic experience for our communities.
We hope to see you again soon…
Cheers!

(Help at CGWC Booth, receive soak/sauna passes)
CGWC is still looking for people to help with our booth at Laurelhurst Park during the next Sunday Parkways. If you’ve been to CGWC, then you can talk about the wonders of hydrotherapy at the bathhouse or that dreamy massage you had last week or the wonderful naturopathic doctor that helped you understand what has been making you sick for a while (it’s probably what you’re eating)…
Anyway, even if you have not been to CGWC, contact me for a free pass to try our bathhouse before August 15 and we’ll put you on the crew!
2 hr helping at the booth = 2 hr soak/sauna pass
Open Positions:
9am-11am – need 3 (set-up – bike trailer?)
10am-12noon – need 3
12noon-2pm – need 3
4pm – need 3 (break-down – bike trailer?)
Contact Bob New by responding to this email or by calling 503-238-1065. There will be at least 3 people per crew at the booth during any one time, so you’ll have plenty of support… Thanks in advance!

Have you folks thought about opening at 9am or earlier in the summer?Heck enen the reast of the year. Those hours are really great for folks who like to soak 1st thing.
Hi Sandy,
We did try opening earlier last year and did not have many people come in to use the bathhouse during the early morning. Our hours were 7am-1pm and 4-12 midnight. We decided to go back to our regular hours and expand if we receive more requests to warrant opening earlier again. It will probably be a couple of years I’m guessing…
Bob, I signed up for the August Sunday Parkway table at the July (or June)event. I’d like to help set up and work the booth 9-11, but I don’t have a bike trailer.
Hi Roger,
Our next Sunday Parkways event will be at Laurelhurst Park. Please email me the time you can help between 10am-4pm. infocgwc@gmail.com
Thanks!
