Hey Summer Lovers!
As we finally are getting to summer, the records are being broken all over Portland. The rain and cold have helped business, for sure…not in recent memory have we had close to 150 people relaxing during a mid-week day in June in our bathhouse. In any case, we are all ready for summer and here are the first of the summer treats for you at Common Ground Wellness Center!

We hope you enjoy the offerings at CGWC and come out to sample some of our practitioners at the Flanders Open House with a new 2 for 1 deal, enjoy music in the bathhouse or take a spin on your bicycle while helping the CGWC booth during Sunday Parkways.

We’re always looking for ways to continuously improve our service to you as we provide a healing and relaxing place for our Portland community. As summer rolls around, traditionally it’s been the slow season here at CGWC. Some changes are coming up and we’ll be planning this summer for ways to have you get involved in our visioning process as we further define the meaning of a wellness center providing a holistic experience for our communities.

2) Music in the Bathhouse – Summer Schedule!

I do get excited about the musical performances we’ve been having in the bathhouse over this past year… Such an intimate setting with some great Portland musicians creating a beautiful vibration that you can feel in the hot tub, sauna or even as you walk in our front doors.

Call for reservations at 503-238-1065. As usual, please reserve your space early as we are sure to be full to our capacity that eve (20 people per hour). Regular prices apply: $11/hour members and $14/hour for non-members. (Become a member and save all year long!)

CGWC is still looking for people to help with our booth at Laurelhurst Park during the next Sunday Parkways. If you’ve been to CGWC, then you can talk about the wonders of hydrotherapy at the bathhouse or that dreamy massage you had last week or the wonderful naturopathic doctor that helped you understand what has been making you sick for a while (it’s probably what you’re eating)…

Anyway, even if you have not been to CGWC, contact me for a free pass to try our bathhouse before Aug 15 and we’ll put you on the crew! 2 hr helping at the booth = 2 hr soak/sauna pass

9am-11am – need 2 (set-up – bike trailer?)
10am-12noon – need 2
